Woodstock Education Foundation

Congratulations, WMS Class of 2020!

Grants in Action

The Woodstock Education Foundation provided recently a grant to supply a touch point stylus for each of the 400 iPads at the Woodstock Middle School!

As students, parents and educators continue to navigate a hybrid education model in the Woodstock Public Schools, the WEF is proud to continue its support. Money raised by the WEF goes toward helping students in Woodstock grades pre-K through 8.

Making a Difference in Woodstock Public Schools

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to challenge our community, the WEF extends its appreciation to the WPS teachers and staff who quickly adapted by setting up online classrooms and navigating distant learning.

The WEF is proud to support them.

A tradition of supporting education in Woodstock

During these challenging times, the WEF continues its tradition and its mission of broadening the sphere of learning for Woodstock students.

Since its inception, the WEF has granted over $500,000 for educational enrichment programs for the children attending Woodstock Public Schools.

About the WEF

Welcome Back!

A new year begins.

Welcome back to school Woodstock students, teachers and staff! While certainly not our traditional "back to school," it is so heartwarming to see the smiling faces of students heading back to school. We may not know what lies ahead for the school year, but wish all of the students, teachers and staff a safe, productive and happy school year. We are proud to support you.

INSPIRING STUDENT STORIES

"Joining the WMS Public Speaking program was one of the most important decisions I ever made. Participating in this program, as well as in other WEF funded activities such as History Day and Math Olympiad, helped me to develop the necessary skills and self-confidence to excel in and out of school. I am grateful to WEF for supporting the programs that helped prepare me for success in high school, college, and beyond."

– Brendan Chapuis, The Woodstock Academy, Class of 2018; Harvard College, Class of 2022

“I am grateful for the opportunities from the Woodstock Education Foundation that granted my growth as a leader in many programs at The Woodstock Academy. In middle school I challenged myself to become a better and more confident speaker in public speaking, drama club, and with my participation in History Day. All these programs have led me to be a leader in volleyball, music, and drama, and have allowed myself to go beyond my limits to achieve great things."

– Samantha Orlowski, Woodstock Academy Class of 2019
