WEF Starlight Gala Sparkled Again! The Event Center at the Mansion at Bald Hill was the backdrop for Woodstock Education Foundation’s sixth annual Starlight Gala held on Friday, November 10th . This year’s Starlight Gala was an enchanted evening that sparkled beyond our wildest dreams. More than 190 enthusiastic supporters dressed in their finest, enjoyed wonderful cuisine, and danced and mingled with attendees and sponsors. There were many bidding wars for the 79 silent and 23 live auction items offered. Some popular items included Patriot tickets, a Lake Tahoe Ski Get-away, an escape to the Cape, a weeklong stay at Sugarbush in Vermont, three bikes, a Cocktail Party for 25 at the Mansion, and an Exotic Driving experience at Thompson Speedway. The event was a tremendous success, raising over $40,000 to support WEF’s mission. Since WEF’s inception twelve years ago, we have provided over $250,000 to fund programs at both WES and WMS. Thank you to all who attended and donated to such a wonderful cause…the children of Woodstock!
