Woodstock Education Foundation News

The Woodstock Education Foundation is a non-profit volunteer organization established by a group of like-minded parents in 2005 in order to provide funding for enrichment programs for all students in Pre-K–8. The students embrace these programs and look forward to participating in them with great enthusiasm! During this past month alone, the WEF awarded $20,000 in grants for the 2018-2019 school year to teachers at both WMS and WES. These exciting educational initiatives include:

Grade 3 - Mystic Aquarium Field Trip
Grade 3 - Providence Zoo Field Trip

Youth Night Dance

WEF will be sponsoring the upcoming Youth Night and Dance on Friday, October 19th. Fifth and sixth grade students are invited to attend Youth Night dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes from 2:30 to 4:30. The 7th and 8th Grade Dance is from 7:00-9:00 and will be a black and orange theme. All profits raised from ticket sales and snacks go directly towards funding grants.

Starlight Gala 2018

Please join us for an enchanting evening of dinner and dancing at our Seventh Annual Starlight Gala and Auction. It will be held on Friday, November 2nd at The Mansion at Bald Hill Event Center. Our coveted Live and Silent Auction items are back and better than ever, including a New England Patriots Football signed by Chris Hogan, cocktail party for 20 at the Mansion at Bald Hill, Cape Escape weekend, and our wildly popular Principal for a Day!
